About Us

As Miami County’s local board of developmental disabilities, our mission is to empower people with developmental disabilities to live, work and play as full members of our community.

We directly provide Early Intervention for ages 0-2, Service and Support Administration (case management) for ages 3 through the end of life, recreation services for all ages and free trainings for Direct Support Professionals (caregivers). We also partner with local service providers that offer adult day services, in-home care, job training and transportation. These services are provided with funding provided by MCBDD local tax levies (40%) and Medicaid (60%).
