Provider Training
MCBDD is pleased to support the recruitment and retention efforts of providers by partnering with The Academy and WestCON to offer the DSP trainings listed below at no cost to agency and independent providers! CPR & First Aid Training
- Mandatory Orientation & Annual Renewal Training
- Medication Administration Category 1 (initial 2-day class)
- Medication Administration Category 1 (renewal class)
- Medication Administration Category 2 (renewal class)
- Medication Administration Category 3 (renewal class)
- Adult Day Services/Vocational Habilitation Training
- Behavior Support: Crisis Intervention and De-escalation Training

Call to Report an Incident
Please call this number at any time to report an MUI.
Please Do Not Wait to Report an MUI
Providers of services to individuals with DD are required by rule to call in and report UI/MUI within four (4) hours of the event, and submit a written report by 3 p.m. the next business day.
Because people with developmental disabilities are among our community’s most vulnerable citizens, the Miami County Board of Developmental Disabilities is committed to protecting their health and safety.
Our Investigative Agents at are responsible for examining cases of abuse, neglect and unusual incidents involving people we serve.
All reports are then reviewed by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. Incidents of a criminal nature are turned over to law enforcement.
Please provide the following information when calling to report possible abuse, neglect or other unusual incidents:
- Name of individuals involved
- Names of witnesses
- Location the incident occurred Details about the incident
- The action taken to remedy the situation
- Details about the incident
- The action taken to remedy the situation
