All athletes 8-years-old and older who have/had an IEP and developmental disability are welcome to join Miami County Special Olympics! Interested athletes should bring any necessary support people (parent, guardian or provider) to the Sign-Up Night for their chosen sport. During the session, we will share how to get started with Special Olympics and hand out practice schedules. Participation will require a physical exam (good for 3 years) at the cost of the individual. Necessary costs related to participating in Special Olympics sports will be paid by Miami County Special Olympics, such as uniforms, equipment and registration fees for tournaments.
