Joel Bopp

Board Member since 2025

I have lived in Miami County since 1976 and have seen the community help each other as I grew up. I had the opportunity to fill the term of a retiring board member with whom I worked, and witnessed what it meant to him to serve on the MCBDD Board. This is an opportunity to give back to the community that has given so much to my family.

MCBDD treats people with the respect and decency that all individuals deserve. They also promote the betterment of Life within all Miami County communities. I am proud to be a part of the Mission.

Nate Funderburg

Board Member since 2025

I chose to join the MCBDD board because, after years of working with MCBDD in my role as an attorney and guardian, I have come to understand the importance of MCBDD, not only for the individuals it serves, but for the community as a whole.  I believe that MCBDD provides economic and social opportunities for its clients and fosters a greater awareness of the challenges and triumphs of its clients to Miami County residents as a whole.  I believe that MCBDD’s most important role is advocating for the inclusion of those with developmental disabilities in all aspects of the community.
